If you don’t know about the Beer Choir you should. Twin Cities-based, it was founded in 2015 by composer and beer aficionado Michael Engelhardt and it’s where beer and singing come together. If you can imagine a beer hall where hundreds of singers, who don’t know each other, get together to enjoy a cold one and sing from the Beer Choir Hymnal…that’s the Beer Choir.
The Beer Advocate Magazine said “this merry band of vocal enthusiasts have tapped into something deeper and broader than expected.” From Boise to Ypsilanti the Beer Choir has over 20 chapters across the country doing what they do best…singing and drinking.
Mixed Company Singers has the honor to perform on October 24th at 6:30pm at Inbound BrewCo. We’ll do a couple of numbers at the beginning and have the opportunity to talk about ourselves and what we do. They even let us set up a table if someone wants more information about us. It seems like a win-win.
The Brewery is located at 701 North 5th Street in Minneapolis (the warehouse district). The food is good, the beer cold and it gets pretty crowded so come early to get a good seat.
