It’s a new season and we’ve got two new members that have joined us. They are tremendous additions to our group and we can already hear the difference.

We’d like to introduce to you Eric Lambert:

Originally from New York, and now hailing from Lakeville, he's a corporate lawyer (don't hold that against him) and he sings bass. That's right..a.BASS!! You can never have too many of those in your group.
Welcome to the family Eric. We're looking forward to singing with you...quartet anyone?

We’d like also introduce to you Kathleen Albrecht:

Born and raised in Youngstown, Ohio she began singing barbershop with the Square County Chorus and the Daddy’s Little Girls’ quartet in 1984 so this is her 40th year as a barbershopper. She has sung in four Sweet Adelines’ Choruses and four quartets winning two regional quartet championships with Champagne and Soda Pop.

In 1995 she married her husband, Bill, and moved to Melbourne, Australia where she co-directed the Melbourne Chorus winning the regional championship. In 1997 she moved to Oshkosh, Wisconsin and directed the Fox Valley Chorus for 8 years earning the title of Master Director and directed the chorus to a 3rd place finish at the International Educational Symposium.  She co-directed the Fox Valleyaires Men’s Barbershop Chorus for 14 years with her husband as well. In 2021 Kathleen and her husband were inducted into the Land O Lakes Hall of Fame.

For the past 6 years was also the musical director of the On a Positive Note Chorus in Appleton, Wi. The chorus’ members are those living with dementia and have a care-partner.  In June, 2024 she moved to Victoria, Minnesota to be near her daughter and joined Mixed Company Singers. In August she became a grandma for the first time! Professionally she is a retired elementary and high school teacher.

Welcome Kathleen Albrecht. You sound like you’ve been with us for years.
